Choose the ULD and the deck, place cargo, and the contour is applied as a hard envelope. Over-contour pieces are identified, not averaged away.
Freighter main decks are modelled as two columns either side of the centreline, so the fuselage taper applies to the outboard shoulder only — which is what makes the side selection on the page meaningful rather than decorative.
